Flight Lookup

To find flight records logged inside your account quickly, you can use our Flight Lookup tool (previously known as Missions Analysis).

Searching for Flights

By default, loading into the page will display an unfiltered selection of all flights stored against your operation.

Using the basic filters, you can set a date range to fetch flights from and order them by newest or oldest.

To apply your new filters, simply select Show flights on the right.

warning

In some circumstances, loading flights using this tool could take some time.

There are two main factors that affect load times, which are the overall user count of your operation and whether you make use of our flight logging app Live! - which will include viewable and exportable flight tracks in the data fetch.

If the lookup is taking some time, try narrowing your date range or applying more filters at a time.

Filter Controls

For more specific control about the data you're fetching, you can select More filters to open a secondary panel containing additional options to narrow your lookup further.

These options can be stacked together or used independently, and may filter options of other settings:

note

By default, only flight records owned by the relevant user referenced as the P1 will be displayed as results.

If you want to also include P2 flight records (if, for example, you have many flights where the P1 is not a user in your account), you can set this in your Operator Settings.

Flight Data & Actions

Each flight result contains all properties we store against the flight, with the Mission Type taking precendence.

A few items are conditional, depending on how the record was created or whether certain parameters are met.

Sectors

If your operation has Intermediate Sectors available, and they have been saved against the record - that result's row will be structured differently, including the landing and ground time details for each entry.

This also means that the final landing details are also split into a final sub-row below the sectors (or directly below the takeoff row if only one intermediate landing was recorded).

OS Grid/Track

Within this column, two conditional data points are available:

  • If appended to the record to designate final landing, a six-figure grid reference will be displayed (formatted with a double-character area prefix) along with the ability to view the location on a map using the button (this feature is primarily designed for use in the UK).
  • If you use our Live! app to log flights, the full flight track will be available to visualise using the button, or to download as a .gpx file if you wish to manage it yourself - using the .gpx button.
