Quantavia Knowledge Base

Welcome to the Quantavia Knowledge Base - a collection of guides and support materials for all Quantavia products.

This site is built and maintained by our internal teams, with regular updates for individual guides when new versions of our platforms are released.

If you do notice a guide or reference that doesn't seem accurate or may be outdated, please let us know using support@quantavia.net.


What can I use this for?

This site is the central hub for customers or potential users who want to either find out more about how to use certain features of our products, or need help with a particular problem.

The Knowledge Base will be routinely updated when features are added or altered, or new guides need to be written - some guides or support pages may even be referenced in our Release Notes when versions go live.

The left-hand sidebar allows you to jump to other pages based on the section you're currently viewing (on mobile, you can open the menu to see this).

Each page also has a list of headings on the right-hand side that allows you to jump to the topic you're looking for (on mobile, these options are contained within a collapsible section at the top of the page called On this page).

You can view the site in either light or dark mode (or set to match your system), using the and buttons in the top right of the page (inside the menu on mobile).

Finally, if you want to get around quickly, you can use the search function by selecting the search bar at the top or pressing Ctrl and K on your keyboard.

Your search terms will return results of whole pages, as well as sections and sub-sections from within the guides.

Guides

On this site, we have written and curated comprehensive guides to use when you're learning how to use one of our products, or just need a refresher.

Guides are split between their individual products, which currently includes:

  • FlightCrewManager (formerly HeliCrewManager)
  • The Hub mobile companion app
  • The Live! flight-tracking iPad app
  • Altitude (in beta)
  • Altitude's in-development API

All guides can be accessed by selecting Guides in the top NavBar, or navigating back to this URL through help.quantavia.net/docs/guides/intro.

Articles in the Guides section of the site may be marked with tags.

Tags allow the page to be marked with a specific topic or resource within the product being documented and can be found at the bottom of each guide.

If you select a tag on any given guide, you can quickly access related guides through the site-wide index.

You can see a list of all tags here.

Some guides may have popouts like this to provide you with important information.

This might be because the guide is only relevant to users with certain access levels or describe paid features - or give a warning that the page is referring to sensitive areas of the software.

Support

As well as guides for our product documentation, we have a support area that contains other articles that may be useful if you run into problems. Access these pages through Support, found at the top of all pages.

The Common Issues section contains troubleshooting steps for regularly reported problems, so make sure to head there first if you encounter an issue in one of our services.

FAQs is a selection of general queries we often receive, which are aimed towards new users who are currently trialling or onboarding onto our platforms.

If neither of those sections can help, we provide a direct ticketing system with the Submit a Ticket page.

Using this system rather than contacting us directly makes sure our support team has better visibility of the problem, can get back to you more quickly and follow up to make sure the issue is resolved.
